Hello, I’m Vicky  and I operate the Digs for Dogs dog walking and pet services franchise covering the Ormskirk, Aughton, Burscough and surrounding areas.

As a dog owner myself, I know that for your dog to stay healthy and happy, a daily walk is essential. I understand how difficult it can be to find the right care for your precious pooch while you are working during the day

Dogs and cats have been part of my family my whole life and I absolutely adore how animals all have their own little personalities and ways of expressing themselves! I understand how much your furry friend means to you, they’re so precious and such an important part of your family that you want to be sure they’re getting the best care when you can’t be there.

All of the dogs I walk are always truly loved and cared for and I do everything I can to find out about your dog’s individual needs to plan the perfect walking schedule. Some dogs love to walk in a pack, racing around in the fresh air with their doggy friends – whereas some dogs require the extra attention  of a solo walk.

Whichever best suits your pooch, I will make sure they have plenty of exercise and plenty of fun and then I will return them warm, dry, and ready for a snooze.

Dogs have always been an important part of my life from when i was first born and my older brother had his gorgeous Golden Retriever “Peppy” who never left my side, to my very first own dog at the age of 11, “Henry” the King Charlies Cavalier, to my current doggie, “Charlie”, my amazing Chocolate Labrador. As a dog owner myself, I know just what an integral part of the family they are! Charlie shares my love for the outdoors – in all weathers, and my active lifestyle. We enjoy many adventures together.

After being in hospitality and sales for over 20 years, I have learnt so much and the job moulded me in to the person I am  today, for which I will always be grateful for. The job enabled me to meet so many amazing people and travel the country. However, I have realised that constantly chasing targets and sales is not what life is all about and what truly makes me happy is being in the outdoors and around animals. I have always dreamt of working with animals so I decided to chase my dream with the help of Digs for Dogs.

I am qualified in Canine First Aid and have experience with various breeds, so I can assure you that your dogs will be in extremely safe hands with me. I am looking forward to meeting you and your pups very soon!
