Wyreside Lakes Fishery And Campsite - Dog Friendly Camping In Lancaster, Lancashire

Welcome to Wyreside Lakes Fishery and Campsite: Wyreside Lakes is a family run business, situated in over 120 acres of farmland at the foot of the Bowland Fells in Dolphinholme Lancashire. On the estate there are 7 fishing lakes - with a superb stocking of coarse and pike and for walkers and those who appreciate nature, the River Wyre meanders through the property alongside the beautiful bluebell laden Fox’s wood.

Our award winning campsite has a full range of facilities for overnight stays including grass electric pitches for caravans, campervans and motor homes and lush green fields for tents to camp on.

There is toilet and shower block, which are all free of charge to use, including a disabled / baby changing room (this room is kept locked so please ask for a key) and also an onsite shop and launderette, equipped with hairdryer and iron.

For the children there is a safe outdoor play area and lots of wildlife and a wood to investigate - Please note: the river Wyre runs adjacent to the wood and can be very dangerous. Please do not allow your children to roam unattended or swim in the river. The nearest public swimming baths are at Garstang (5 min drive away).

Children are also allowed in the arcade & club house in the evenings -accompanied by their parents / guardians.

The surroundings at Wyreside are very natural and peaceful. Many of our guests come to take in the views and relax. If you do experience any issues with other guests whilst staying with us - please alert a member of staff either in the daytime at reception or on one of our overnight emergency numbers, straight away so we can attend to the situation immediately.

We provide entertainment in the Fisherman's rest (Weekends only) for all those who wish to have a livelier environment.

The onsite shop was relocated to be combined with reception and can be found next to the Fisherman's Restaurant. We stock a wide variety of items which you may need whilst staying with us from bait and terminal tackle to cookers & gas, dog toys and chews, shampoo, guide ropes, beans and dummies!
