Daisy doodle Grooming - Dog Groomer in Aylesford, Kent
From a young age, my love for animals, especially dogs, has been a constant in my life. Growing up surrounded by furry friends, I developed a deep connection with these incredible creatures. Now, as the proud parent of my beautiful Shih Tzu, Daisy, my passion for dogs has only grown stronger.
For a long time, I harbored a dream of working with dogs, but life circumstances put that dream on hold. However, when the pandemic struck and we found ourselves in lockdown, an opportunity presented itself. Daisy's fluffy coat was in dire need of attention, and as someone with experience in hairdressing for humans, I decided to take matters into my own hands.
Armed with clippers and determination, I embarked on grooming Daisy myself. Though she may not have been entirely thrilled with the process, she emerged looking like her usual adorable self. To my surprise, many people began asking where I had found a groomer still operating during the pandemic. That's when it struck me – I could combine my hairstyling skills with my love for dogs and pursue a career in dog grooming.
In the summer of 2020, I embarked on my training journey. Fast forward three years, and I am now proud to call myself a fully qualified and accredited Groomer. But it doesn't end there – I have also obtained certifications as an animal first aider and animal psychologist. My dedication to these fields reflects my commitment to providing the best care and grooming experience for every dog that comes into my care.
I consider myself a soppy dog lover through and through. Working with these incredible animals brings me immense joy and fulfillment. Each dog that enters my salon receives the utmost love, attention, and professional care, as if they were my own.
I am excited to continue this incredible journey of making dogs look and feel their best. I can't wait to meet you and your furry companions, so we can embark on this grooming adventure together!

Full Groom
Our full dog grooming service offers a comprehensive range of services including bathing, drying, nail clipping, ear cleaning, hygiene clip, brushing and combing, as well as clipping and scissoring to breed standard style or as per the owner's specific requirements. A spritz of perfume is also provided to complete the grooming experience.
Puppy Groom
(Only puppies up to 6 months old)
A tailored groom just for puppies. Includes a bath, brush through of the coat, gentle blow dry, ears and eyes cleaned, paw tidy & clearing of sanitary area (if needed) and nail clip.
Bath, brush & dry
Perfect for in-between grooms or if they have rolled or paddled in something unpleasant Includes a warm water bath, brush out of the coat and a blow dry - ideal for after muddy walks or trips to the beach.
Hand stripping
Hand stripping is a grooming process that involves removing dead hairs from the coat by hand instead of clipping to keep the coat tidy and healthy. Usually completed twice a year in spring and autumn, it speeds up the natural process of growth and shedding.
We also offer nail trims & paw massage.

“Cheryl done a wonderful job of Olive & Beans! Beans is a very nervous dog and doesn’t like meeting new people or letting them touch him, but Cheryl was amazing with him! He let her give him all the rubs and you could tell he was at ease. Olive was instantly at ease in there too.
