Wheatfields Luxury Glamping - Dog Friendly Glamping in Appledore, Kent
At Wheatfields we offer two unique, luxury safari lodges set in a stunning location on the edge of Romney Marsh, close to the historic town of Rye and the fabulous Camber Sands. Our spacious, en-suite Safari tents can sleep up to eight people so are perfect for family groups who want to spend time together enjoying the big outdoors. With hot showers, wood burners and luxurious bedding these spacious tents are fully equipped and have everything you need for a relaxing and memorable holiday, and you can bring the dog too.
The tents are nestled around a pond on our family run 500 acre working arable farm, with no livestock on the edge of Romney Marsh in the Rother Valley. Large deck areas front and back offer sitting options to enjoy the different views across the marsh or towards the stunning ancient cliff of the Isle of Oxney. Both have their own Gas BBQ’s and firepits with plenty of logs supplied.
Walks around the farm and along the Saxon Shoreway and to Appledore and Stone-in-Oxney, Rye and beyond.
Amazing “Dark Sky” with no light polition. If you love star-gazing this is the place to be.

“We had a beautiful stay at Wheatfields, hiring both of the tents. The tents have been done up really nicely, with beautiful bedding and bathrooms! The fire pits are great to gather round in the evening, there was everything needed for cooking and seating for all of us and every couple felt like they had their own space when needed. Penny was lovely, and we had fresh flowers in both tents. Totally recommended for adults, children, babies and dogs! ”
