Located in the centre of the rural village of Newbridge on the Isle of Wight and tucked away at the end of a private drive with ample room for parking 3 or more cars, the property is within easy reach of coast, beaches and nearest towns; just step outside for beautiful country walks and cycling routes!
Three Gables is the perfect base for friends and families wishing to spend time together and enjoy a relaxing break at any time of the year with the microclimate of the island giving weather that is often better than elsewhere in the UK. Patio doors and large windows give a light and airy feel with solar panels providing hot water in the warmer months, whilst good insulation and central heating make Three Gables warm and cosy at cooler times of the year.
Sleeping arrangements in the property are very flexible, upstairs the master bedroom has zip and link and can be either a super kingsize bed or 2 single beds, ensuite bathroom with shower over, toilet and basin, one double room and a twin room make up bedrooms 2 and 3 a large shower room with toilet and basin. A fourth bedroom situated on the ground floor with an en-suite shower, toilet and basin. Bedroom number 5 is also located on the ground floor has twin beds. There are also 2 cots available and a toddler bed in bed room 2 and a family bathroom on the ground floor.
The other amenities include our large bespoke kitchen with Rangemaster electric cooker, fridge/ freezer, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, kettle, dishwasher, a large dining table which seats 10 comfortably and a spacious lounge with ample seating for 10. Large TV with Freeview, Smart Blu-ray/DVD player, CD player with iPod dock, The study room/bedroom 5 has seating for 4, a day bed (makes 2 singles) and second TV with DVD player.
French doors lead onto the decked veranda and garden to the front. The garden is suitable for children with a fence to ensure safety, a decked area, patio and lawns. BBQ, outdoor furniture and games are provided- perfect for the Spring and Summer!
The property is not adapted for wheelchairs but is suitable for people with restricted mobility. Access to the property includes a step into the house (ground floor accommodation comprises of an en suite bedroom, the kitchen, lounge, study and separate family bathroom).
The nearest shop is only a 2 minute walk away (open March -Nov), the pub 1.5 miles and the nearest beach 3 miles.
A short drive will take you to local towns for shopping and the many tourist attractions around the island; the county town of Newport is only 6 miles away and historic Yarmouth is 3 miles away, both well worth a visit.
Please note: a £250 security deposit is payable returned within 7 days of departure.
We provide free WiFi, and secure lockable storage for bicycles, sporting equipment etc.
There is ample parking for 3 or more cars.
Public Transport is accessible from the property as an hourly bus service passes near the end of the drive from/to Yarmouth ferry or Newport.

Lots of space, lovely secure garden, plenty of bathrooms so everyone could get ready at the same time, well equipped kitchen, really can’t fault anything. Roma and Martin were so friendly and welcoming and every little touch had been thought of, including lovely complimentary toiletries in the bedrooms, a welcome basket full of homemade goodies, holiday ID tags for the dogs and all the baby equipment we needed. The house was ideally located for some lovely walks and tourist sites just a short drive away. Loved our stay and would thoroughly recommend to others. ”

“My husband, Mum, 4 dogs and me have just spent 5 amazing nights at Roma and Martins absolutely beautiful house. It’s spacious, modern, airy, has stunning views, is immaculately clean and has everything you could wish for. Extremely comfy beds, lovely kitchen and bathrooms and a lovely garden overlooking miles of hillside (perfect for the dogs and our bbq and cuppa’s). Roma and Martins house is central for most places and only 8 miles from the needles. Roma and Martin made us feel so welcome. The only negative is our holiday is finished - we will be back Thank you”

“We spent a wonderful 5 days at Three Gables. Our party of eight friends and 2 dogs were really comfortable here, Roma was a great host, from the ease of booking to arrival instructions, it was good to be able to phone and discuss the details prior to our booking. We were a group of old friends getting together to catch up and celebrate 2 x 65th birthdays and do some walking even though the weather wasn't always great, Roma recommended some excellent not too muddy walks. The house was spotlessly clean and is very well equipped and we lacked for nothing. The house is very spacious with plenty of room for all of us not to be crowded, it was a great luxury to have 4 bathrooms, the kitchen had everything we needed with a lovely large dinning table for our long chatty meals. The views from the house are beautiful and the garden is secure which was great for our two dogs, we loved the temporary dog tags with the address and contact numbers of Three Gables on them. We all had a fabulous stay here and will have no hesitation in returing one day , planning to come back soon with my children and grandchildren, hopefully with better weather! The house itself is in a prime position with outstanding views. The house is well appointed and is in immaculate condition. Newbridge is a quiet village, but convenient for the whole Island.
