Moorhall Farm - Dog Friendly Accommodation in Whitbourne, Herefordshire
This traditional Grade II listed farmhouse is a spacious, six bedroom, comfortable property boasting modern and traditional elements. This is a perfect location for a rural reunion with friends or family in the midst of the heart of England’s farming land.
Originally built in the late 17th Century, Moorhall Farm has been a family home for the Brodie family since 1936 and it is still used today as part of the working farm. Your immediate neighbours will be our herd of beef cattle.
The farmhouse is situated just off the A44 on the Worcestershire/Herefordshire border, 4 miles from the market town of Bromyard on the outskirts of the village of Whitbourne.
Bedrooms
Moorhall offers space and comfort: our six double bedrooms sleep a maximum of 12 adults and 4 children, with two rooms situated on the ground floor. Due to the historic evolution of the house, there are three staircases offering lots of space and privacy for families.
Self-catering facilities
Our well-equipped kitchen has a large dining table and seating for 12 adults and 4 children.
The Aga, range cooker and microwave meet all your catering needs. A fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine are also included. A full equipment inventory is available on booking.
If you prefer to relax, we can deliver evening meals reflecting our combined English and Caribbean culture: explore Food & Drink here.
Guests can enjoy the games room (with pool table) and a choice of two sitting rooms. The farmhouse has underfloor oil central heating downstairs and radiators upstairs, as well as the Esse Ironheart woodburning stove in one sitting room (a stock of firewood is included for your convenience).
Outdoors
There is a large parking area for residents’ exclusive use but note that access is via the working farmyard. At times, you may have to allow the cattle to move on first! There is easy access via local public footpaths to the Bromyard Downs and Bringsty Common. Dining al fresco? We can supply charcoal for the outdoor BBQ on request for a small charge.
