“Gordon was an incredibly welcoming host. The van was an older style static home with an interior that felt homely and cosy. Our dog and grandson loved the proximity to the beach, which is literally less than 100yards away. The van has everything that is needed including a washing machine and several lovely touches like small games for children, doggie bags, a dog bowl and even a spare bed for a small dog should you forget your own. The shower is surprisingly good considering the age of the van and the double bed was incredibly comfortable. Parking for up to two cars and a nice little verandah to sit on in the evening as well as a small external table and chairs beside the back of the van. It was a lovely base for our short break and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it, as it was an ideal base for exploring the south coast and local maritime attractions. ”

“Stayed for two nights this past week at Seagate. Very aptly named as it is right by the sea gate and the dogs loved it. Happy dogs -happy humans! Caravan is really well set up and even provided by ack up dog bowls, poo bags and fleecy dog mats. Human facilities also brilliant and there was a really warm welcome from the owner on arrival. Have booked to stay again. ”

“We loved our stay in the home from home caravan which was extremely comfortable. Apart from being well laid out, spacious and dog friendly, there was the added bonus of aqn end balcony, which I have to say our dog couldn't wait to get out on every morning and watch the world go by. Location for us was perfect with the sea on the doorstep and ether a walk on the promenade or bus ride into Portsmouth. There was also a fish and chip shop and convenience store round the corner. We'll definitely be back. ”

“ I have now stayed at Southsea Caravans numerous times with 2 pooches and every experience is marvellous. The owner Gordon could not be a nicer more accomodating chap if he tried. He is also a mind of info re things to see and do locally.The caravans are literally a pebble's throw away from a dog friendly beach and waking up to the sound of waves is second to none.The caravans are always spotless and if the owner could move us all in as a permanent lodger I would jump at the chance as would the dogs!!”

“Gordon was a lovely host, very welcoming & prompt in replying The caravan is decorated well and has everything you need and was very clean It is literally situated on the beach, so amazing for walking our dogs Gunwharf Quays is about 12 minutes drive and a variety of shops such as Tesco Extra, B&Q, Lidl etc a few minutes away. There is a convenience store 6 minutes walk The Marina is a short few minutes drive & lovely views We came when it was storming and found the caravan very cosy & warm We will most definitely be back soon Thank you Gordon ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
