The Hounds Of Fun - Dog Walking in Southampton, Hampshire

Hi, my name is Jackie and I have worked with or had animals throughout my entire life. These have included not only dogs and cats but gerbils, rabbits, sheep, cows and ponies!

This extensive experience over the years not only helps me in this business that I set up back in 2014 but also in my voluntary work in dog rescue as a dog assessor, home checker and foster mum. All of my own pets have been rescued and it has been an absolute pleasure to have been able to give them a loving, fun and safe home.

Dog Walking
The Hounds of Fun aim to be the second best thing (the first is you of course!) in your dog's day, when you can't be around to keep them exercised and happy.

Our Dog Walking service can help with behavioural problems arising out of boredom or separation anxiety, maintaining weight or helping with loss, socialisation and sense of being in a pack.  Due to insurance and comfort purposes for your dogs, we never take out more than 6 dogs on any walk.

The Hounds of Fun Dog Walking Service will provide:
Play, fun, paddling, sniffing and socialisation with other dogs
An exciting walk - summer walks at beach or in shady woods due to heat
Human interaction to break up your dog's day
Muddy paws will be wiped in wet conditions
Ensuring water bowl is full at drop off time

Walk areas change due to different weather conditions etc, which provides a variety of stimulation for sounds, smells and surfaces.

Solo walks can also be provided, perhaps for those who are not ready for group walks, are recovering from medical treatment or are a bit older or younger and need a slower pace in life.
