The Vyne is pleased to welcome you to our dog-friendly property. We hope you will enjoy this exceptional place.

An intimate family home, the history of The Vyne spans the centuries. From its royal connections in Tudor times to its place today as a intriguing retreat for you to explore, you can lose yourself in the surroundings that inspired great authors such as Jane Austen.

You can enjoy the view of the house in winter and the first hoarfrost or the autumnal glow of the woodland on a misty morning. Can you see yourself spending lazy summer days picnicking on a lawn that stretches to a shimmering lake?

The gardens are a peaceful escape enjoyed by visitors, year-round. Bring along a picnic lunch to enjoy by the ornamental lake or grab something tasty from our Tudor tea-room, which offers outdoor seating.

The ancient woodlands are a great place in every season, from the carpet of spring bluebells to autumn leaves. Sneak into the wetland bird hide and experience glimpses of wildlife. Come alone or with friends and family, there's plenty to see and do for all ages of adventurer.

Dogs are permitted in the park, woodlands, and gardens. Due to restricted space, we do not allow dogs within the Walled Garden or any of our buildings.

We kindly ask that you bring bags with you to clean up after your pets.
