Dogs
For dog owners, our garden is fenced and safe. A few yards away is a footpath, perfect for quick morning/evening runs.
Your dogs are very welcome and can stay without charge. You have full use of an extensive garden, which is fenced in, so they can't escape. We also provide a dog bowl and a dog towel - very useful for when they return all muddy if it's been raining. The only thing we do insist on, if that's okay, is you do not let your dogs up on the sofa or on to the beds. Please also don’t leave your dogs behind unattended when you go out. When your dogs do a poo, please pick it up with a poo bag and dispose of it in the black dustbin to the left of the front door as you're facing it.

Location
It is very quiet, on the edge of the village of Nether Wallop. Sometimes you can hear our local owl calling and we feed the birds on fat balls swinging from a branch outside the living room.
Nether Wallop contains many old thatched cottages, and has been featured in books and TV programmes as one of the prettiest villages in England.

In particular, Dane Cottage in Five Bells Lane was used as Miss Marple's home in the village of St. Mary Mead for the BBC TV adaptations of the Agatha Christie novels. The house and many of the surrounding lanes within the village were used as the setting and are commonly seen throughout many of the Miss Marple films.
