Welcome to Cosy Cottage in Lyndhurst, the "Heart of the New Forest". This dog friendly self catering Victorian cottage is just a 5 minute walk to Lyndhurst village with the open forest just around the corner! Perfect accommodation with two ensuite bedrooms sleeping upto 4 people with a choice of sumptuous super kingsize, kingsize or single beds. Free wifi is available to help you keep in touch whilst you are away! Ideal for couples, groups or families (travel cot and high chair available at £15 each per stay). Dogs are very welcome to stay (£15 each per stay) - whether it is one or more!

Why not leave your car parked outside the cottage on its own parking strip as Cosy Cottage is a 5 minute walk to the village centre with a selection of cafes, restaurants, shops and pubs - there's something to suit all tastes.

The open forest is less than a minute away, which is ideal for dog walking, cycling or hikes to suit all abilities. Lyndhurst and the surrounding New Forest areas offer many activities for all ages. There are so many tourist attractions just a short drive away - why not visit Beaulieu Motor Museum, Bucklers Hard or Paulton's Park? Try your hand at horse riding in the New Forest or golf, fishing, cycling, and bird watching or simply soak up the beautiful views that the New Forest has to offer!

Cosy Cottage has been refurbished to a very high standard with all the modern conveniences you could require, including free WiFi as well as quality furniture and fittings.

The large kitchen/diner has a ceramic hob and oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine/tumble drier as well as a microwave. There is also a CD player with built in Ipod dock for a little background music whilst cooking or eating. Enjoy a quiet or romantic meal in the spacious dining area with a large dining table and chairs.

Tea towels, oven gloves, dishcloths, washing up liquid and kitchen towel are all provided for your stay. A few dishwasher tablets are provided to "get you started" as well as eco-friendly "wash balls" for your laundry. As you would expect, cooking utensils, saucepans, baking trays, oven dishes as well as a matching set of crockery are also provided for your stay. There is also a complimentary hospitality tray with tea, coffee, sugar and biscuits as well as fresh milk for your arrival. There are even treats for the dogs!!

Through the kitchen and down a couple of steps leading out to the garden, there is a useful boot room, which can also be used for drying wet and muddy dogs, (dog towel, dog blanket and dog toys are provided) with adjoining downstairs cloakroom.

The lounge has an easy to use electric log burner, perfect for the colder months where you can sit and relax on the 2 leather settees. There is also a TV with built in DVD player and freeview for your entertainment together with a comprehensive library of DVDs for all ages.

From the hallway and up the traditional cottage staircase, there are two large bedrooms - one with a spacious en-suite bathroom and the other with en-suite shower room.
