Walk along the Coastal Path or just drop onto any of these local beaches:
Llanbedrog Beach, which is now owned by the National Trust, is a safe and sandy beach and very popular during the summer months. A dog friendly beach to your right as you go down the slip, to the left you will need your dog on lead past the beach huts, but please remember your pooper scooper.
Carreg-y-Defaid (1 mile east of Llanbedrog on the Pwllheli road) - where the mussel beds are exposed when the tide is out. A dog friendly beach but please remember your pooper scooper.
Quarry Beach / Glanymor Ty'n Towyn (reached along Quarry Road from Llanbedrog) - this lovely, sandy beach is on the edge of the Warren with a free car park. You can still see some of the old quarry buildings on the headland and the remains of a jetty which was used to ship the stone from the quarry. A dog friendly beach but please remember your pooper scooper.

Dog friendly beach kindly added by Abersoch Cottages
