We are a small, family-run park that focuses on quality and making sure your Pen y Bont holiday is one you’ll never forget. We have been awarded Five Star campsite status by Visit Wales and are ACSI accredited.

Tents
The camping field here at Pen y Bont is set in an area of its own but not too far away from the Caravan and Motorhome pitches for those of you travelling with friends. If you’re travelling with friends and wish to be close to them during your stay please add a note to the enquiry form and we will try to accommodate your request.

We have a limit on the number of very large tent pitches we can allocate. This applies to tents generally over 4.5mtrs wide, and in particular the very large POD style of dome tent.

Caravans and Motorhomes
All of our touring pitches are hardstanding with a choice of full hardstanding or with awnings on grass. All pitches are serviced with an electrical hook up point with some being fully serviced (electricity, water and waste facilities). Please let us know your requirements via the enquiry form and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Pet Friendly
As a family with two springer spaniels called Del and Bella, a cat, horses, and a few chickens, we understand how important it is that our 4 legged friends have a holiday as well. We welcome any well-behaved humans and their dogs on our campsite. There are many great walks, beaches, and swims in and around Bala and the Snowdonia National Park for you to explore. However, not everyone are dog people and some people on site might have allergies. So we ask that you do respect other people and keep your dogs on a lead and clean up after them.

Park Shop
Whether you’re in a caravan, motorhome, tent, or glamping, you can travel light, as there is a well-stocked shop/reception catering for most of your camping needs. This includes tent pegs, airbeds, other accessories, bread, milk, free-range eggs, and much more. We also have daily delivery (excluding Sunday) from T.J Roberts, award-winning local butchers, for your delicious BBQ.
