The Royal Oak Tetbury - Dog Friendly Inn in Tetbury, Gloucestershire

The Royal Oak Tetbury is a charming and friendly free house dating from the late 18th century and restored back to the community in 2013 following extensive restoration.

There's a classic saloon bar with upcycled furnishings, cosy booths, a beautiful Art Deco piano and a vintage jukebox. Stylish dining as well as private dining for gatherings and celebrations can be enjoyed in the restaurant in the rafters.

With six lovely en suite rooms including the show-stopping Oak Lodge, and three dog-friendly rooms, The Royal Oak is a fun and relaxed getaway from which to browse the chic boutiques of Tetbury or explore the beautiful Cotswolds.

Ample patrons’ parking is available immediately to the rear of the pub on Herd Lane. Tetbury’s free long stay car park is also located a minute’s walk away next to the Tetbury Goods Shed Arts Centre.

Dogs are welcome downstairs in the pub where the full food menu is served. Please let us know when booking if you will be bringing your furry friend with you! Water bowls and treats are available, and we also have three dog-friendly rooms, making The Royal Oak the perfect place for a dog-friendly break.

Rooms
All our rooms (three of which are dog-friendly) are beautifully decorated, and include television, unlimited free WiFi, hairdryer, kettle with tea, coffee and treats. All bathrooms are ensuite with top-quality Burlington fittings, rain showers and luxurious Bramley natural bath and body products. An iron and board are available on request, and all room bookings come with breakfast provided.

Food & Drink
We pride ourselves on using fresh, local ingredients in our ever-changing seasonal menu, accompanying an exclusive list of drinks available at the bar.

With Cask Marque accreditation, we have a range of local real ales and ciders along with familiar favourites on tap, plus a great range of spirits, house cocktails and soft drinks. Food service is available both downstairs in the dog-friendly bar, and upstairs in our relaxed dining area. From three-course meals and an outdoor Airstream serving world street food during the summer months, we aim to keep our menus as fresh as our ingredients.

Dogs
We are a dog-friendly and dog-loving pub with rooms and we do not charge an extra tariff for dog stay-overs. Our three ground floor rooms are all dog-friendly so please inform us should you wish to bring your furry friend. Dogs are welcome in the ground floor level of the pub, but not upstairs in the dining room. If your dog is a little bit naughty, please keep him/her on a lead in public areas. We are fortunate that there is a small copse and a lovely walk starting right by the pub.
