Woodchester Valley Vineyard - Dog Friendly Accommodation in Stroud, Gloucestershire

Our vineyards are located in the South Cotswolds, within the Cotswolds AONB and make a perfect base for exploring the area, or just escaping for the weekend. This undiscovered bit of the Cotswolds is ideal for walkers & cyclists and is in easy reach of the bustling market towns of Stroud & Cirencester. Cheltenham, Bath and Bristol are also accessible and make great days out.

Located on site at our Woodchester Vineyard are our three luxury vineyard guest rooms, perfect for a weekend stay. For slighter larger groups, or for those with dogs, we also have accommodation at our farmhouse for up to 4 people or Woodchester Valley House for up to 12 people.

WE DO NOT ALLOW DOGS in the Vineyard Barn Luxury guestrooms - only in The Retreat and Woodchester Valley House.

We have a limit of 2 well behaved dogs in each house.

The Retreat (sleeps 4)
The Retreat is a spacious and characterful farmhouse with over 1,400 sq ft of living space across two floors. The entrance is through a utility room, into the large kitchen, fully equipped with fridge, freezer, oven, breakfast bar and dining table. A log burner and Sky TV are also included. The kitchen leads into the hall off which sit the living room, second bedroom and a family bathroom (bath and separate shower).

The living area is light and airy with generous windows allowing you to take in the surrounding views and has a second log burner. The master bedroom and en-suite (bath and separate shower) are upstairs and has a super king size bed. Bedroom 2 is a double bedroom with bathroom next door. Outside, a private drive leads to the property, with a covered car port, enclosed garden (perfect for dogs) and a large lawn area outside the front of the property, with seating.

Woodchester Valley House (sleeps 12)
A wonderfully contemporary architect designed Cotswolds house located in the grounds of the vineyard’s Woodchester site. Perfect for large groups and families the space offers large well proportioned rooms, as well as offering views across the valley and over the vineyard. Four of the six bedrooms can be made up into a twin.

On the ground floor you will find a welcoming entrance hall with a cloak room and boot room. The large living room and the family room both have a log burner. From the family room, bi-fold oak doors lead to a large kitchen diner, with a table that comfortably seats 12 guests. The dining area has a gas log burner. Off the kitchen there is a pantry and utility room. There are patio doors from the main areas leading out to the large garden and allowing you to appreciate the amazing views across the valley and over the vineyard.

Upstairs, you will find six double bedrooms, four are en-suite. The master bedroom has a dressing room and ensuite with roll top bath and walk in shower. There are double doors leading out on to a balcony. The second bedroom with en – suite has a roll top bath and walk in shower. Bedroom three and four have en-suites, one with a walk in shower the other with a bath (shower over).

The fifth and sixth bedrooms share a family bathroom that offers a walk in shower and a bath. All the bedrooms benefit from views. Four of the bedrooms can be made up into twin rooms if requested (please advise on booking). There is a sofa bed which can sleep an additional two people however please note that this is in the dressing room adjacent to the master bedroom so may not be suitable for all bookings.
Outside you will find a large garden and patio, perfect for alfesco dining. There is parking for up to six cars on site.
