Established in 2006, Holidays4Dogs has a huge amount of experience serving 1000’s of owners and their beloved pets all over the country. We are constantly building on this success in the Gloucestershire and Wiltshire area with our team of fabulous, fully approved carers all of whom are experienced dog lovers.

Despite local authority changes allowing dog care providers to profit from looking after multiple dogs in the home, accepting day-care dogs as well as home boarders and pack walk up to 6 dogs together, Holidays4Dogs has always firmly believed that your dog is safer and best cared for as an individual, not as part of a pack.

To this day, we are one of very few dog care providers who offers a truly exclusive stay for your dog. This philosophy is proven to best provide full peace of mind for you and your dog.

We have COVID-19 safeguarding in place and follow all latest Government and CFSG/DEFRA guidelines to protect both you and your dog's carer.

What is home dog boarding?

Home dog boarding is when your dog goes to stay with a host family where your dog lives as part of the carer’s family living in the carers own home. Your dog enjoys his/her own bed, food, toys and enjoys all the comforts of home away. There are no kennels and no cages involved.

What has changed?

Home boarding used to be all about personal, one to one care. Dogs from other families were not allowed to mix. Unfortunately this has now changed and many home boarding providers today do so to maximise profit and are now allowed to fill their homes with dogs from more than one family, accept additional day care dogs and pack walk up to 6 dogs together. We believe given mass boarding your dog no longer receives all the loving one-to-one care, attention and individual exercise your dog requires.

 Holidays4Dogs Carers are not looking after your dog for profit (if they did they'd have lots of dogs staying at once like other boarders) instead they enjoy the company of your dog and provide loving care willingly for your dog. We believe it is important to match your dog to the perfect carer, this will be someone who is as near as possible to where you live and of course is available when you need them. We always invite you and your dog to meet your dog’s carer before any stay to make sure you are 100% happy and go away with complete peace of mind leaving your dog. We understand trust is a very important thing and as such our carers like to keep in touch while you are away providing updates for you.
