Welcome to Woodland Barn, a unique split-level cottage (transformed from classic stables and a hayloft) that offers the perfect blend of rural tranquillity and home comforts.

Ideal for families or couples, it comfortably accommodates four guests with a double bedroom with en-suite and a cosy twin room complete with a separate bathroom.

Dog lovers rejoice! We happily accommodate up to two well-behaved dogs at no extra charge. We have an enclosed garden with a lawn where it is safe to play and scenic walks from the door.  We provide an outdoor tap, cosy blankets, dog bowls, 'I'm on holiday' tags with our contact details and a hand-made dog toy to help them feel at home.

Cleanliness and safety are paramount at Woodland Barn. We furnish our cottage to the highest standard. The modern kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, and the open-plan lounge/dining area, complete with underfloor heating, offers a warm and inviting space.  There is a smart tv and fast Wi-Fi.

Step outside and discover a spacious patio with seating and a coal BBQ – ideal for memorable meals. The private terrace boasts breathtaking views of the River Severn and valley. The highlight of this property is a secluded hot tub. With soothing jets and lights, it's the ideal spot to relax and unwind after doggy adventures.

Woodland Barn sits amidst a wealth of activities and sights. Numerous dog-friendly walking routes, cycling trails, and scenic viewpoints await, along with dog-friendly attractions such as Goodrich Castle, Lydney Harbour & Dean Forest Railway.
