Honeypot Cottages - Dog Friendly Accommodation in Gloucestershire Cotswolds
At Honeypot Cottages we endeavour to make guests feel as if they’re the first people to stay in a cottage and to feel their needs have been catered for throughout the holiday. We have a personal interest in ensuring all cottages are perfect for the arrival of guests and support is available for the duration of the stay.
Not only do we take bookings for the cottages, we also prepare cottages ready for guests. It is down to us and our team of people to ensure everything is as it should be when you arrive and that you are supported throughout your stay.
We love Chipping Campden and the surrounding areas and we'd love to welcome you and your pets to enjoy the area too. We will help in any way we can to make your stay memorable and most importantly, recommend properties which most suit you and your pets requirements.
A selection of some of our properties below:
Cidermill Cottage
Cidermill Cottage was built at the turn of the 18th century, originally as two cottages. Packed with character and charm, the cottage is delightfully furnished and benefits from a South facing enclosed private courtyard garden.
Situated close to the beautiful church of St James and only a 2 minute walk from many shops, pubs and restaurants. Roadside parking close to the cottage.

The Honeypot
The Honeypot is a delightful, traditional Cotswold stone cottage that is perfectly situated down a small snicket, just 40 steps (paces) from Chipping Campden’s famous and historic High Street. This is a delightful small cottage that can sleep 3/4 (though the space may be a little cramped for 4).
The Honeypot is an ideal romantic retreat with exposed beams, stone walls and a cosy log burning stove, combined with large sofas and pretty fabrics the cottage makes a super base for walking, touring the Cotswolds or simply enjoying the many restaurants, pubs, shops and all the other local attractions that Chipping Campden has to offer.

Wixey House
Wixey House is a Grade II listed Georgian style home. It is situated in the residential area of the High Street, fronted by a parking area and wide grass verge with water pump. 250 years old, Wixey House was once owned by local grocer Herbert Wixey. His shop was in the property on the corner which opened in 1863 and is now a private house. Wixey House was for many years a bakery.
The property has been renovated to a high standard and is now a beautiful and comfortable holiday home with high quality furniture and soft furnishings. There is full gas central heating. Children welcome. Cot & highchair available on request for an extra charge.

Reviews
“We have stayed at several different Honeypot Cottages over the past few years with our dogs. Andy has always been extremely helpful when helping us to choose a cottage. We have stayed in Chipping Campden itself and we have also stayed in Paxford at the Manor Lodge Cottages (both!). 1 Manor Lodge suited our dog because the garden is so big but 2 Manor Lodge was perfectly adequate when we were too late booking No'1 one year. Cidermill Cottage is our favourite Chipping Campden cottage. We also like The Honeypot but Cidermill has a slightly better courtyard garden which is enclosed. Chipping Campden (and Paxford) offers fabulous dog walks; around town and side roads, as well as public footpath and field walks. We love walking around past the banqueting house and along the footpath past Lady Julianas Gateway. Our dogs love the river & it's a great place to sit & relax with a picnic! If we're feeling a bit more adventurous, we head up to Dovor's Hill (NT) & walk down through the woods which is wonderful all year around. We did once walk to Broadway tower & enjoyed a cup of tea and slice of cake before we made our way back. This took us about 5 hours but we were in no rush. This is part of the Cotswold Way long distance footpath. We'd love to walk the whole way to Bath some time in the future, stopping off at lots of places on the way but that will have to be another time when we're fitter! Our dogs were welcome in all pubs we frequented and most cafes too. We would recommend Honeypot Cottages to anyone who is considering visiting the Cotswolds and wants a welcoming self catering holiday cottage experience.”
