Cleeve Hill Hotel - Dog Friendly Hotel in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire
Welcome to the highest hotel in the Cotswolds
Cleeve Hill Hotel sits at the peak of the Cotswolds, with stunning panoramic views of the Malvern Hills and surrounding local countryside. It’s the perfect place to take a deep breath, settle in and take advantage of all the best the Cotswolds has to offer.
Rooms and Suites
Our rooms and suites are designed for you to rest your weary feet after walking the Cotswold Way or Cheltenham’s Shopping Promenade; escape for a weekend with or without the family; meet friends for a long-overdue gossip or find tranquillity from all the festivals.
Eat and Drink
You can’t start the day without a satisfying breakfast which is why it is included in your rate when you stay with us.
From the moment you arrive, home-baked cookies or cake are available as well as treats to tantalise from the Honesty Bar. With so many local independent restaurants and pubs to choose from, Cheltenham is definitely the food capital of the west.
Adventures
There are acres of Common land at the back gate of the Hotel, with the Cotswold Way National Trail being one of the many walks you can take.
If walking isn’t your cup of tea, the Cotswolds are full of alternatives from gardens to museums, gorgeous villages to historical places and regency Cheltenham just a short car drive or bus journey away.
Dogs
We can easily welcome doggies to the Hotel. Other pets are subject to a discussion with Lindsey. We have had a cat and a bird come to stay but it does need to be well coordinated! It is complimentary to bring your pet.
Doggies are asked to bring their own bedding and food with them. They are only allowed in certain bedrooms, so please do mention that they are coming to stay. Doggies are not allowed on the furniture, or the beds. The Hotel will incur penalties from the laundry company if dog hairs are caught up in the laundry sent back for cleaning, and we don’t want to have to pass these charges on to you. The Hotel also asks that doggies aren’t in the breakfast room at breakfast time, just in case other guests are nervous of dogs or they get too excited at the smell of sausages and bacon!
