My name is Katie and I am the proud owner of Katie & Friends Pet Services. I have worked within the animal sector for over 10 years now and first established Katie & Friends in 2013 as my own dog Kie didn’t cope very well in kennels. Since then we have tripled in size and now offer a wide range of pet care services for all domesticated pets.

I find great pleasure in providing beloved pets with love and care when their owners are absent. I also understand the toil and torment owners can face when trusting others to care for their pets. I have had the pleasure of working with a variety of animals during my time and caring for animals has always been a strong passion of mine since I was a child.

Katie & Friends provide services to Waltham Abbey and all surrounding areas within a 10 mile radius. We have a fantastic team of friendly fellow passionate animal lovers who are on hand around the clock to deliver your pet with the best care. We guarantee peace of mind, reliability, experience and professional service to all that we meet!

Dog Walking
Katie & Friends Pet Services offer a convenient, reliable and trustworthy dog walking service. Whether your dog requires this service, once a month, once a week long or short sessions we strive to meet the needs and personal requirements of both you and your dog. All our walkers are professional and experienced dog handlers with a strong knowledge of husbandry, welfare, canine behaviour and are all animal first aid trained. This service is ideal for weight loss, fitness, boredom and general exercise requirements.

Each dog has their own personality, temperament and behavioural patterns and it is important our walkers are familiar with these to ensure your dogs safety and happiness whilst using our walking service.

Our dog walking service is normally an hour session either held in a group or solely. However timings and durations of walking sessions are extremely flexible and adaptable to your dogs personal requirements and needs. First time users of this service will receive singular sessions for two weeks, as our walkers need to work one to one with your dog to create a high level of trust and to ensure that you, your dog and our walkers are confident we are catering for your dogs needs to the best of our ability.

Day Care
Katie & Friends Pet Services offer a canine day care service held in a home environment. Day care services run from Monday to Sunday from 9am until 6pm (out of hours day care can be arranged if required).

Your dog would receive a morning and afternoon walk, feeding, playtime and plenty of socialisation with a variety of other pampered pooches!

Dog Boarding  
Pet boarding is a service designed as an alternative to kennels/catteries. As a lot of animals suffer separation anxiety and health issues before and after boarding in these establishments. Pet boarding is held in our own family home providing a friendly, safe, comfortable environment, a second home from home.  With this service you are ensuring your pet receives loving one to one care minimalising stress and anxiety. Our boarding service includes a one hour walk per day, feeding, watering and general care.

Pet Visits
Pet visits are another convenient service Katie & Friends Pet Services have to offer. We would visit your home while your away and ensure your pet is fed, watered, exercised, happy and healthy in your absence. These visits are extremely flexible in regards to duration and timing.

Pet Transport
Katie & Friends Pet Service offers a transportation service to all species, breeds and size! This service is often used for trips to local groomers, vets and other appointments. Transportation must be booked 72 hours before the date of the appointment.

Pet Live-ins
Pet Live-in is a service similar to pet boarding. Live-in normally consists of a member of Katie & Friends Pet Services staying in your home overnight and visiting throughout the day. The Live-in service offers the same level of care in your pets own familiar home environment. This service also includes a one hour walk per day, feeding, watering and a drop in visits where required. Drop in visits are short visits to your home at the agreed slot times for walking, feeding, companionship, check up or even to alternate the home lighting for security purposes.

Microchipping
The law states from 6th April 2016 all dogs in England and Wales are required to be registered and microchipped by 8 weeks old. Katie & Friends are qualified to microchip all dogs, cats and rabbits.
