My name is Jeanette and I've been professionally walking dogs since January 2011. I worked for a local company in Thurrock but when I moved to Benfleet I decided to set up my own company and 'Totally Barking Pet Services' was born.
I am passionate about all dogs and have 2 of my own. I love all dogs whether they be large or small and all the dogs in my care, whether, coming out for the ir daily exercise, or staying in my home with me, will be treated with the love and care that I give my own dogs
At Totally Barking we can offer a comprehensive and professional range of pet services and we understand that there are different reasons for people needing their dogs walked so we offer a range of packages to suit all needs, dogs can join us for their daily fun fix or come out occasionally when needed. The group walks are a great way for dogs to play and have fun with fellow canines and make new friends and return to you tired and happy, we fully believe that a tired dog is a happy dog.

We cover the following areas in Essex - Leigh-on-Sea, Hadleigh, Eastwood, Benfleet, Thundersley, Rayleigh, Pitsea, Billericay, Basildon, Laindon, Langdon Hills, Corringham,Stanford Le Hope, East Tilbury and surrounding areas
Our Services
One Hours Group Walking: We do group walking where your dog can come out with a small group of dogs to a local country park and have a fun time and get plenty of exercise. This alleviates boredom whilst you are busy and also helps to socialise your dog with others. We collect your dog in an air conditioned and vented van that is fully crated so your dog can travel in a comfortable, safe environment. Once at the park we do an hours walk in a wooded area where the dogs can stretch their legs, swim in the pond and have lots of play time. We do basic training with your dog i.e. sit, stay, down etc.
We then take the dogs back to their homes tired and happy until you return home. We will dry the dogs with towels and try to return them as clean as is physically possible. The dogs are welcome to join us anytime you need them out of the house so 1 or 2 walks a week or anything up to every day of the working week. Some dogs like to join us for a couple of weeks a year if you are unable to walk the dogs at that time.
We are fully pet first aid trained and carry first aid kits in the van to deal with minor cuts and grazes. We also carry treats, poo bags and fresh water
Solo Dog Walks: If your dog is not very sociable with other dogs we have very limited spaces available for solo dog walks these are usually half hour toilet breaks that allow your dog to stretch its legs and get out of the house
Home Boarding: You can give your dog a holiday all of its own whilst you are away. The dogs come to live with us in our homes, with our dogs, and get treated like a member of the family and get all the home comforts our own dogs do. You just need to supply your dogs food, bowl and bedding so that your dog feels at home and you can then go away knowing that your dog won't be shut in a kennel all day, but will be getting lots of love and cuddles.
Puppy Visiting: If you are considering getting a new puppy then maybe we can help. We can come round whilst your dog is too young to leave the home and spend half an hour with them giving them their lunch, playing wth them and cleaning up after any accidents they may well have had. We give them lots of love and cuddles and do some basic toilet training with them whilst we are there. We can then progress to giving them 15 minutes walking time once they have had all their innoculations and help them to get used to 'the big outdoors'
Pets to Vets: We appreciate that it's not always easy to get home to take your loved one to the vet when they need it, or using public transport with an animal is very difficult, so we can pick up the animal, take it to the vet for it's treatment and then reurn it to you. All you have to do is make the appointment and then give us a call.

Teddy really looks forward to seeing either Jeanette or Kayleigh every day and going out for walks with his "mates".
