“I'll tell you a secret..... St Boltophs Priory is one of the most enchanting areas to visit along with your best friend. What a beautiful environment, whether rain or shine. The Priory is a ruin, albeit a mystical one, there are seats to relax. it is very peaceful. To access the Priory you cross a small bridge over the river, on a good day it's like crossing a waterfall. The river stretch has some nice houses close to the bank. Ice creams and tea/coffee are available, close to the car park. My wife and I, with our dog (Max) visit the Priory regularly. It is such a well kept secret for most. Visit and enjoy a lovely afternoon out. Sayonara”
