Explore formal gardens, woodland trails, meadows and lakes, all set around a majestic 15th century moated castle.

Your well behaved canine companion is also welcome but kept on a lead at all times please.

Our Chestnuts Tea Room serve light lunches and afternoon teas together with daily specials and delicious homemade cakes.

There is also a children's menu and plenty of additional outdoor seating.

Please note that as a working university, the castle is not open to the public.
