Eastbourne is fronted by several beaches, the Pier to Wish Tower beaches being recommended by the Marine Conservation Society in their Good Beach Guide, as are Holywell and Falling Sands, which offer rock pools full of marine life at low tide, as well as pretty gardens and the dramatic chalk cliffs.
Beaches from the east of the Pier to the harbour are known for their visitor attractions and water sports.
