Camelford Arms - Dog Friendly Pub in Brighton, East Sussex

Our pub has a simple approach - to be the sort of pub we would love to go to ourselves.

We are proud of our Dogs'n'Logs approach. There is nothing that makes a pub a proper pub than our four-legged friends asleep in front of a log fire...though it is more suited to the winter months!

We serve a warm welcome, warm beers and cold lagers, and loads of delicious Pub-Grub.

Proper pubs have a Pub Quiz. Ours is every Thursday at 9pm - with a Top Prize of £300 in cash.

We are on a perfect dog walking circuit, within a stick's throw of Brighton Beach and Queens Park area of Kemptown. So why not make us the perfect spot to stop off and have a pint with us?

PLEASE remember - the biscuits are meant to be FOR THE DOGS! You wouldn't want them to scoff your Sunday Roast - so leave their biccies alone!.



The Moroccan Garden
Ok, it's a bit quirky, not arguing with you about that, but our cheeky little outside garden space is a popular secret.

Hidden away at the rear of the pub, this cosy little area has seating for 12 people and open till 9pm each day. Perfect for that discreet little rendezvous away from prying eyes, or for a larger crowd to get together for a long lazy Sunday lunch.

It is beautifully lit and has full outside heating, making it available all year long. (To be honest, we think it is at its best on the autumn / winter evenings).

The garden is available for private reservation.

(This is a no-smoking area).



Our Food
We serve traditional Pub Grub, and we do it rather well.

We are very proud to have been awarded Best Sunday Lunch in Brighton by The Golden Handbag awards - voted for by the lovely people of Brighton - for the last 4 years!.

Booking is recommended, but not always necessary, as we always reserve tables for walk-ins.

We offer a wonderful Meal Deal Mon-Wed of a Burger/Pie/Curry/Sausages for £9.90. This INCLUDES a pint / glass of wine.
