Dogs
Dogs are allowed to stay in the rooms with the guests, but must NOT be left unattended in the room, unless special arrangements are made - If your dog is crate trained and a non-barking dog you may be allowed to leave the dog unattended in the room in his/her crate. This is, of course, by prior arrangement.

Water bowls, food bowls, and poop bags are available for your use.

We also have spare leads and umbrellas should you need to borrow them.

There is a great tree lined place to walk dogs right across the road from the Guest House and hundreds of great walks in the surrounding area (river walks, hill treks, you name it...)

Dumfries has many pubs that are Dog Friendly: Waverly Pub, Tam O' Shanter, Fleshers Arms, Douglas Arms, The Ship Inn, Granary,  Globe Inn, and The Coach & Horses.

Dumfries also has some pub/restaurants/cafes that allow you to have your dog with you on the patio or inside whilst you eat. A list is available from Ferintosh.

You can also order Chinese or Indian Takeaway, have it delivered to Ferintosh, and eat in our Dining Room with your dog. We have menus downstairs and we will supply you with plates and napkins- just ask.
