Hi, I’m Robin, a Dorset based full time dog professional photographer. Photographic portraits of your dog really are a lifetime investment, and an eternal reminder of just how important our four legged friends are. Dogs just love being outdoors, which is why my portraits are taken in in their happy place, and I focus upon beautifully lit portraits of your dog in the environment where they are at their best, outdoors.

Shoots can also include indoor portraits as well, and of course some images of your dog in action, and perhaps including their humans too!  What is important is that your dog is happy, having fun, and whatever we do, the photos reflect their personality. Each shoot is built around your dog and their needs, as a fun-filled experience.

As a dog owner myself, I know how important memories of a dog are, and how essential it is to capture the relationship between you and them, as we know our beloved canine companions won’t be around forever. Because of this, it is so important to capture them at their best to remember for eternity, and it is hard to put a value on these memories. Your dog is an integral part of your family, and needs to be treated as such, as I’m sure you’ll agree!

The Shoot
Sessions are completely flexible, and tailored to what you want to get out of them. I like to go out on location, perhaps one of your favourite walks, and find some great light to work with, all the time getting to know you and your dog, and gaining their trust. Then the fun begins!

Shoots can be anywhere in Dorset, Hampshire, or further afield. The usual approach is to start with some nice posed portraits of your dog, all nice and clean, before heading out for a good walk (or run!) round the countryside, with plenty of action photographs, as well as some photos with you if you wish. This gives you a really beautiful and well rounded collection of images of your dog in a variety of settings. A session normally takes around 1 hour.

After the shoot, your images are then shared in your own private gallery, from which you can choose your digital downloads, and a range of prints. All shoots include print credits to use towards either digital downloads, prints or wall art, so your four legged friend can take pride of place at home.
