Stonebank is a Grade 2 listed building dating from the late 1500’s and the Annexe offers holiday accommodation in the Dorset village of Chickerell, three miles from Weymouth and Portland, the home of the 2012 Sailing Olympic Games and now a very active sailing centre. A mile from the Dorset coastal path which skirts the Fleet, the narrow lagoon, between Chesil Beach and the mainland, near to the RSPB reserves and a short drive from the dramatic World Heritage Jurassic coast.

The Annexe is a holiday cottage, available all year, that sleeps up to four people and is ideally situated for exploring Weymouth, Portland and the delightful county of Dorset.

Location
Stonebank is conveniently situated to explore West Dorset, which is an area of outstanding natural beauty. It is one mile from the World Heritage Jurassic Coast and South West Coastal Path.

The area is noted for its bird population, with the RSPB Lodmoor and Radipole bird sanctuaries at Weymouth.

The popular seaside town of Weymouth it's bustling harbour is three miles to the east, the county town of Dorchester is 8 miles to the north and the attractive village of Abbotsbury, well known for its Swannery and Sub-Tropical Gardens is six miles to the west.

Chickerell has a village store, Post Office, newsagent, pharmacy, hairdresser, library and doctor’s surgery all within 300 yards. There are also two pubs offering a variety of food. Also nearby is Bennetts Water Gardens which has one of the most outstanding displays of water lilies in Britain.
