White Horse Farm - Dog Friendly Accommodation in Dorset

We are in rural Dorset and surrounded by miles and miles of glorious unspoilt Hardy countryside. Lying between the historic towns of Sherborne, Dorchester and Cerne Abbas, our dog friendly cottages and farmhouse are within easy reach of local inns which all serve good food and fine Dorset ales in a friendly atmosphere. We are also only 100 yards from the "Hunters Moon" pub next door.



Otter's Holt
Otter's Holt is a luxurious Wessex built Milbourne lodge cabin with three bed rooms and provides self catering accommodation for six to eight people. There is one double (en-suite) and two twin bedrooms. There is decked balcony, a large lounge (with one sofa being a sofa bed) and a well fitted out kitchen which is equipped with all the necessities you will need for a week or two away. 42" TV and DVD player.  Otters Holt is set to the side of the paddock within a large grassed garden area with lovely country views". It also has its own large well fenced private garden.



Barn Conversion Cottages
We have 4 self-catering barn holiday cottages; “Toad Hall” (sleeps 4), “Badger’s”, “Moley’s” & “Ratty’s” (all sleep 2) were formerly part of the old farm's outbuildings and are located in the old courtyard. They have been tastefully converted and retain much of their former features such as exposed stone walls and exposed beams, providing comfortable accommodation. They are all 3-star properties.



In all cottages we provide a 26" LCD colour TV with DVD player and as many films that you have time to watch. All the cottages have access to wireless broadband. The cottages have been comfortably furnished and are centrally heated throughout.

We welcome well behaved and supervised dogs - no extra charge (for two or less). We have a large paddock which is fenced off and there are many lovely dog walking areas nearby. We have a number of walking books suitable for dogs which you can borrow. Other animals are welcome by arrangement.

Please remember dogs cannot be left unattended in the cottages. The majority of our local pubs are dog friendly and there are many local attractions and beaches to which you can take dogs. However if want to go to somewhere that is not dog friendly there are local kennels that can accommodate your pets for short stays or on daily rates.
