Mutts Maison - Dog Walking In Poole, Dorset

Mutts Maison is owned by me, Jess Andrews, and is run with the help of my mum Brenda.

We offer dog walking, dog daycare, and dog boarding to smaller dogs in the Bournemouth and Poole area.

Dogs that stay with us sleep in the house, and become part of the family while they stay. Our usual walks are down Alum Chine and Branksome Dene Chine and onto the beach.

We are both experienced with animals as we have always owned cats and dogs and have looked after friends’ dogs.

In May 2015 we sold our dog-friendly tearoom – a thriving business which we ran for 10 years.

We often had several dogs at a time in the tearoom including our own 2 year old Boston Terrier. But despite the fun and the lasting friends, we made we wish we had set up Mutts Maison earlier.

Without getting into the car there are loads of interesting walks where dogs can explore. They can go in the chines, on the beaches and through the woods.

We are three minutes from Branksome Dene chine and five minutes from Alum Chine. Alternatively we can go by car to other places of interest.

We endeavour to have 2 walks a day but we may ring the changes and have a day in the forest, which will be one long adventure walk.

If your dog is too young or too old and not up to a strenuous walk, Dad, who shares our passion for dogs and is particularly sensitive to the needs of older dogs will step in and go at their pace.
