Warcombe Farm Camping Park - Dog Friendly Camping In Morthoe, Devon
A warm welcome awaits you here at Warcombe Farm Camping Park. We invite you to come and relax in our beautifully landscaped grounds, enjoying the outstanding panoramic sea views. Our dog friendly site is nestled between the villages of Mortehoe, Lee Bay and Woolacombe, just a short drive from the historic harbour town of Ilfracombe. We enjoy direct access to the South West Coast Path and are close to the Tarka Trail link for safe, off road cycling. The award winning beaches, recently designated UK’s first World Surfing Reserve status, are a stone’s throw from our gate making us the perfect location for camping, caravanning and motorhoming holidays in North Devon.
The Site
At Warcombe Farm we do everything possible to ensure your holiday with us is a pleasant and memorable one. Our generously sized pitches are mostly level. Many of our 260 camping and caravan plots are separated by fences or shrubbery for enhanced privacy. Serviced pitches are individually marked. We are renowned for our excellent facilities including family shower rooms and bathrooms, fully accessible disabled bathrooms, all with underfloor heating for your ultimate camping comfort, hairdryers, laundry, wetsuit wash and microwaves. Our well stocked fishing lake is for the exclusive use of our guests. Tackle hire is available. We have a fully enclosed childrens’ play area with popular aerial slide. Food vans attend nightly in peak season for your convenience. Our site shop sells essentials, basic camping and pet supplies, ice creams, a selection of local beers, ciders and wines and handmade cards and gifts. There is a bus stop right outside our entrance if you wish to take advantage of public transport.
The campsite is kept as unspoiled as possible and is carefully maintained by our experienced Grounds Team. We have left natural rises in the ground, in keeping with the surrounding landscape. The site itself covers an area of 36 acres including 14 acres of woodland dog walk. The grounds have been extensively planted with trees which have become well established over the years, and provide much needed shelter for the diverse wildlife that the site attracts. Between the trees we have allowed grass and wild flowers to grow freely to encourage bees and butterflies. If you look closely you will find a variety of flora, some quite rare. We continue our planting program annually in order to maintain the beauty of the site.
Dogs
We welcome dogs at Warcombe! We ask that they be kept on a lead or tethered at all times whilst on site. We have a sizeable, fully fenced-off area for exercise, where your four legged friends can run free, off lead, and also a luxury doggie shower for muddy paws afterwards. The dog walk leads directly onto the South West Coast Path. The surrounding area offers many varied, scenic & interesting walks for both you and your dog. There are several dog friendly beaches close by and many welcoming eateries and hostelries locally.
Pitch Types
We offer a wide variety of pitches to suit all tastes, sizes and types of camping unit. Hardstanding, grass, fully serviced, non-electric, sea view and fisherman’s pitches with private gated access to the lake. If you are not sure which one to choose please do not hesitate to call us and we will talk you through the choices available to you. Pitch sizes given are approximate. We need to make sure your space is right for you so please ensure that you advise us correctly of tent dimensions and any extras you wish to bring, for example gazebos or extra cars, prior to arrival. We strive to ensure you receive maximum enjoyment from your holiday from the minute you arrive! It is important that you let us know if there are any changes to your booking – some areas of the park are for tents only, so if you swap to a caravan we may need to move you to a more suitable pitch.

Reviews
“Planning to revisit this summer. This is exactly the type of campsite I would create if I owned one! Very well planned planting and a lake attract birds, provide shelter and create a secluded feel. Quiet family camping close to dog friendly beaches and great surf...perfect.”
