Lucy D Photography is all about capturing your pets personality for you to treasure forever. There is no cloth backdrops or studio lights, just the beautiful backdrop of the Devon countryside.

Whether its venturing out to the coast on the beaches, on the rolling hills of the countryside, exploring in the woods or even in chilling in your back garden.

Photo shoots are fun for your furry friend, filled with favourite toys, yummy natural treats, from running to swimming, digging to fetching, anything that lets them do what they love and enjoy the most.

Growing up with pets and a camera in my hand from a young age has led me to combine my passion for pets with my 15 years of photographic knowledge and experience.

These photographic skills and passion grew during my time working at a local daily newspaper.

During my 13 years there, i have developed my own individual style, with the support and training I received has led me to where I am now. Creating fun, colourful, crisp photographs that captures your pets individual character. My inspiration to photograph our furry friends started out when Milo, a 2 year old springer spaniel joined our family, together we ventured out, trying out techniques and exploring places I never knew where on my backdoor.

It is important that the photoshoot is fun but also safe and healthy. Nutrition is so important in keeping your pet healthy, during photo shoots I will use only natural treats. These are made of 100% meat with no additives, preservatives or colourings. To date I have yet not found one dog that has turned their nose up at these delicious treats.

Something that is important and close to my heart is helping out voluntary at my local animal shelter, to use my creative skills to help the animals find their forever home who are waiting for their second chance to live that they life they deserve.
