Dogs welcome all year roundThurlestone/South Milton Sands is owned by the National Trust and is within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). The beach has plenty of rock pools to explore at low tide. The most prominent feature in the area is the famous Thurlestone Rock which was painted by Turner and is best seen at high tide. There is a hotel, pub and shop in the nearby village of Thurlestone. Dogs welcome all year round.

“Lovely doggy friendly beach, with like minded owners who enjoy having their four legged member of the family with them! Nice walk to nearby Thurlestone pub for good lunch and nice refreshments from the beach cafe. Highly recommended. ”
