South Milton Sands - Dog Friendly Beach in Thurlestone, Devon

South Milton Sands is one of the most popular beaches in Devon's South Hams.

If you're rambling, it can be reached by walking east along the South West Coast Path from Bantham Sand, but there's excellent access straight onto this National Trust beach from behind it, too..



Lots of leisure activities are pursued here, from rock pooling, swimming and diving to wind surfing and beach combing, especially after the damage caused by last winter storms in the South West.

So, as one door gently closes and another one opens, there's always the beach.
