Welcome to Deer's Leap, our bewitching, rural haven nestled into the edge of Exmoor National park. Deer’s Leap Retreat is the perfect place to escape it all and completely relax, either in the luxurious self-catering Farmhouse, 1 bedroom Cottage or in our well-appointed 5 Glamping bell tents.

Surrounded by miles of serene countryside, arriving at Deer’s Leap feels like stumbling across your own little piece of heaven. Whatever you need, you’ll find it here.

Whether you’re planning a fun packed week with the children and grandchildren, or some quality time with friends and family, Deer’s Leap provides an environment with a range of facilities to help make your stay really memorable.

3 dogs are allowed in the Farmhouse and 1 dog is allowed in Hartford Cottage and our Glamping Tents.

The Farmhouse (sleeps 21)
The Farmhouse can accommodate 21 adults, sleeping 19 in 9 bedrooms and 2 extra guests on a comfy sofa bed in the snug. We can also include z-beds and travel cots for children, perfect for those looking to hold a family get together or some time away with friends.

The house has 3 large reception rooms and a big farm house kitchen with plenty of space. The beautiful, traditional features have been brought up to date with modern facilities to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible.

 In addition to lots of indoor space, The Farmhouse has a private back garden, with 2 hot tubs, a sauna, comfy sofas, tables and chairs and a large gas BBQ.

Just across the drive is an all-weather tennis court, a lake and a large games room with table tennis, pool table and a dart board. There are lots of sofas for spectators and even more space, so no matter how large or varied you group is, there’s somewhere and something to keep everyone happy.

Hartford Cottage (sleeps 2)
In the midst of the breathtaking scenery and tranquillity that Exmoor has to offer you’ll find Deer’s Leap Retreat. Hartford Cottage offers a perfect setting for a couple wanting to have some quality time together.

Designed as our very special bridal suite, Hartford Cottage offers lots of comfort and character. Guests enjoy their own private patio and Jacuzzi area as well as having access to our beautiful grounds.
