Slapton Sands

Slapton Sands- Dog friendly beach in Slapton, North Cornwall

Up the coast from Beesands, Slapton Sands is also a long, east-facing beach, looking out into Start Bay and towards the lighthouse. At the southern end of this three mile long beach is Torcross, but you can also access the beach half way up the strand, via the memorial car park, or at its northern end, from the Strete Gate car park.



The Torcross end has clean, European designated bathing water, a summer lifeguard service and the whole beach has the Slapton Ley Nature Trail, just behind.
