Alison herself took on the task as she has a great understanding and knowledge of sighthounds in particular which our dogs recognised immediately and they completely welcomed her into their home and life. Alison accommodated the demanding affection needs of our very elderly cat with great compassion and tenderness. “As new clients, at very short notice, Alison made it possible for an amazing lady to come and stay at my house and look after a frail elderly dog Rosie, who I could not put in kennels. Lesley was like the "Mary Poppins" of the doggy world and I cannot express how amazing she was in caring for my dog and enabling my husband and I to go away for the weekend (planned months ago!). Lesley went above and beyond in trying to tempt her to eat and prepared some fantastic yummy meals. “After our former cat-sitters were unable to continue for health reasons, Alison found us the wonderful Jane and Roger! This was the first time we were leaving our "new" rescue cat, who has been with us for less than 4 months. We were therefore a little nervous about leaving him. We need not have worried! On our return we found a contented happy cat, who had clearly "bonded" with his carers. He was his usual bouncy confident little self and we could not have been more delighted. We have already arranged for Jane and Roger to sit for us again for our next 3 holidays, and are about to firm up dates with them for one more. “Alison spent two weeks at our house looking after our Greyhound and Lurcher. We had regular updates and photos of their trips to the fields for walks. I felt they were much calmer and settled on our return. The older Lurcher can be a bit fussy with his food and Alison went out of her way to ensure he ate well. He always loses a little weight when he goes to kennels but ate really well whilst Alison gave him her personal attention. Our Greyhound can be really 'clingy' and unsettled after kennels, but was much happier in her own environment and I suspect with much attention and cuddles from Alison. I would highly recommend her.”
