Widmouth Farm Cottages - Dog Friendly Cottages in Ilfracombe, Devon

Widmouth Farm is situated in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and positioned on the South West Coastal Path. We have 35 acres of headland and woodland that you are welcome to walk around and explore.

All 10 cottages are dog and child friendly with individual car parking spaces, WiFi and communal utility room with two washing machines and one tumble dryer.

Our private beach is right on our doorstep! When the tide is out, enjoy the beautiful sandy beach, where you can walk round to Watermouth Harbour, and if the tide comes back in whilst you’re there you can take the coastal path all the way back.

We have 6 goats, 6 alpacas, 2 sheep, 2 farm cats, chickens, 2 geese and 1 turkey at Widmouth. Animal feed is provided for guests to feed the animals if they wish during their stay.

The Cottages
Beautifully presented dog friendly holiday cottages - some have sea views and all share the play area, dog exercise field, laundry facilities and picnic area, an ideal spot to spend hours relaxing whilst gazing at the spectacular sea views and glorious sunsets over Samson’s Bay.

All of our cottages are NON SMOKING

We do have Wi-fi in our cottages, however being in a secluded spot, our wi-fi speed is much slower, which means streaming etc can be difficult. Sending and receiving emails and messages is fine as well as internet browsing. We are continuously investing in top of the range boosters to improve this but sometimes you may experience intermittency. This is beyond our control.

We have 15 parking spaces for 10 cottages. None of the parking spaces are more than 50 metres from the cottages.

Each cottage has one named space, as close as possible to the cottage.

About The Area
There are excellent beaches such as Woolacombe, Croyde and Saunton as well as may other attractions just a short car ride away. Tourist attractions such as Watermouth Castle, Tunnels Beaches, Lundy Island, Exmoor Zoo, Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park, Ilfracombe Aquarium and The Landmark Theatre are all good places to visit with children, friends and family.
