Dog Friendly Holidays in Devon
All our self catering holiday cottages at South Farm are dog friendly, and your dog will love the long walks through the woodlands and open fields in and around the quiet country lanes surrounding South farm. There are also many local dog friendly Pubs and Inns and they are what everyone imagines a pub in Devon should be. As well as your traditional village pub serving up good old-fashioned pub grub, there is increasing number of gastro pubs and inns that lean towards fine dining. Most if not all are dog friendly. South Farm is nestled on gentle slopes between Honiton and Cullompton in East Devon, where we offer a self contained holiday accommodation with a choice of 8 self catering cottages and including a large farm house. South Farm is an idyllic family holiday destination within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty less than an hours drive from Exmoor or Dartmoor. As guests at South Farm holiday cottages you can enjoy stunning views and share the wonderful facilities.
Family Holiday cottages near Honiton
A communal games barn with badminton, table tennis, toys, books and board games is ideal for children to let off steam, whilst adults use the gym, perhaps even swim in the solar heated outdoor swimming pool after a “knock about” on our tennis court. The grounds are extensive with picnic tables and BBQ’s in most gardens, and there is children’s play-area with trampoline and play tower. The surrounding fields are where deer and buzzards roam, as night falls you may even see the badger family and foxes that often pay us an evening visit.

South Farm offers free fishing open all year and close to the self catering holiday cottages there are three well-stocked Carp / coarse fishing lakes.

At South Farm holiday cottages we have a large play barn, with a special area for the younger children as well as a 1/4 size snooker table, table tennis, table football and a badminton court. This is great place for the kids and grown ups alike regardless of the weather.
Tennis court
Our tennis court at South farm holiday cottage is a great place for a knock about. The tennis court also doubles up as a hard play area.
Small gym
Guests at South farm holiday cottages have access to the small gym, where you can workout.

“Just returned from a lovely holiday at South Farm. Relaxing place with wonderful views. The guys were very happy with the variety and size of fish they caught. Best fishery so far for exercising dogs. Didnt bother to go outside complex as 3 large fields backing onto woods were available with no grazing animals nearby. Loved the swimming pool the views while swimming were breathtaking. All in all a little gem!”
