Our Pub Kitchen serves a fantastic array of home-cooked Mexican and American Food, using great locally sourced produce, we also have takeaway options available.

The hotel consists of 5 double en-suite bedrooms, perfect if you are looking for a seaside stay. Braunton is less than 3 miles from the nearest Beach Saunton, with Croyde and Woolacombe also nearby. The hotel proves popular with both walkers and cyclists needing to rest their weary legs after spending a day on the South West Coast Path and is the perfect place to stop whether you are travelling from bideford or woolacombe. The pub and its bedrooms are dog friendly too, so feel free to bring your canine companions to stay with you.

If delicious food wasn't enough of a reason to pick the George as your place to dine when visiting Braunton. We also have a selection of great daily offers such as Kids eat free every Sunday and Free Desserts on Fridays, check out our offers section for full details of all our incredible daily offers and any relevant terms and conditions.

We use the best local produce where possible and it doesn’t get more local than Braunton's very own Reeds Butchers which is the source of the fantastic steaks and burgers that we serve from our chargrill. If you sit in the bar the butchers can be seen from the large bay window.

It is not just the food that is local, we continue to be inspired some fantastic local produce in the bar, where we will always have some fantastic local ales from both Combe Brewing Company and Red Rock Brewery as well as a selection of Ciders from both Thatchers and Lilleys. Local Rum Company, Pull the Pin’s fantastic range has proved an inspiration for some of our own Cocktails, which Chris has created in house including “The Lundy Island Iced Tea” and “Fruits of the George”. We also have some award winning Devon wines for you to sample from Lyme Bay, which can be found on our wine list.

The pub restaurant and hotel are dog friendly throughout so feel free to bring along your canine companions and we will do our best to make them feel welcome.
