“Fantastic little site. Pitches are an excellent size with water taps close to each pitch and you can fence (windbreak) to make it great for the dogs. The exercise field was massive and I could let my two labs off leads with no worries about jumping fences to chase sheep etc. Only downside was twice in ten days my bitch found fox poo! We went to two nearby sandy beaches that were dog friendly and there's plenty of other attractions that allow dogs within a half hour drive. Local Chip shop was absolutely delicious, so much so we went twice. (Oh well we were on holiday). There's a new toilet block that's cleaned regularly with hot showers and Vicki, the owner, was friendly and helpful. Highly recommended. We will be back.”

“Just returned from three nights at Ashcroft, what a lovely and friendly site, very helpful and pleasant owners. The pitches are large and a nice new shower block with lovely hot shower. Lovely walks in the forestry commission woods with the dog's and a large dog exercise area on site. Will return no problem and highly recommend to friends. ”

“Fantastic place. Three adjacent fields for exercising dogs off their leads. Vicki is so so helpful does a freezer block exchange for those who choose 'old skool' no electric hook up! Having spent four nights here recently we will be going back as soon as we can. The local beaches and pubs are dog friendly and the fish and chip shop in the village is excellent too.”
