Surf Bay Lodge and House offers outstanding self‑catering accommodation on the outskirts of Appledore. Sleeps up to 16 in the main house and 4 in the Lodge, with sea views, heated outdoor pool, hot tub and cinema/games room.

The Lodge is newly renovated to a high standard, with modern kitchen (including Tassimo, dishwasher, oven, fridge/freezer), cosy lounge featuring an Xbox and sofa‑bed, and a comfortable king‑size bedroom with en suite wet room. Guests enjoy exclusive use of a luxurious hot tub and heated outdoor swimming pool.

The main House offers five double bedrooms (four king‑size, one super‑king), three with en suite facilities, plus lounge, kitchen and dining for up to 10 guests. A large games and cinema room (added 2021) provides entertainment in‑house. Outside, two acres of private fields and vast paddocks are ideal for morning dog walks.

Dog‑friendly by arrangement (extra cost), so your four‑legged friend can enjoy the enclosed yards, private fields and nearby coastal walks. Please note hot tub and pool usage carries an extra fee. Sleeps confirmed: main house sleeps up to 16; the Lodge adds 4 more (1 double bedroom + 1 sofa‑bed), giving total complex capacity of up to 20.

Located just outside picturesque Appledore – a fishing village with galleries, pubs and ferry links – and within easy reach of Westward Ho!, Bideford and the South West Coast Path. The heated pool is available from April to October, while the spa‑style hot tub is accessible year‑round.
