 Nestled in the heart of the Peak District, our luxury group accommodation is the perfect self-catered hideaway for those looking to gather, explore, and unwind.

A haven for walkers and cyclists, our modern and spacious lodge sleeps up to 14 adults and 2 children with ease, and with all rooms on one level we remain accessible to those with disabilities.

Sladen Lodge is a unique place where guests can experience memorable moments together. We will look after you from initial enquiry to the moment you close the door, and will always be on hand to provide invaluable local knowledge.

Sleeping
No need to fight over bedrooms – all are good sized and individually accessed on one floor. All rooms have Luxury Hypnos beds – choose between two 3ft single beds or one huge 6ft super-king bed – all adorned with crisp white linen and featherdown duvets. Each room has a warm en-suite with rainforest showers and 6ft heated rails filled with fluffy white bath sheets and hand towels.

Cooking & Dining
You can all sit together round the huge table in the central open-plan dining area with stunning views of the valley. Have your delicious spread light up when the sun shines through the south facing picture windows. There is a fully kitted kitchen and utility room for serious cooking with huge quantities of equipment from steamers and casserole dishes to baking equipment. Ensuring everyone from cooking novices to head chefs will find their culinary feet.

Relaxing
Spend time relaxing with friends and family in a choice of sitting rooms. The smaller sitting room is a perfect reading nook for the morning newspaper or your favourite novel or simply relax and daydream out of the huge windows taking in the fantastic 180° panoramas of the luscious view while listening to your favourite music through the Bose speakers provided. The other larger sitting room is perfect to gather the whole group together for pre-dinner drinks, a board game from the selection provided, or a movie night. Use the 50” smart TV to connect to your favourite subscription streaming platforms. You’ll also find the football table and a good selection of board games and decks of cards in the games room.

Enjoying the outdoors
The sheltered south facing patio is a perfect spot for relaxing and taking in the views. On hot summers days or balmy evenings dine together al fresco around large patio tables.  Or if you need to get more horizontal you can take the picnic blankets and sunbathe on the soft lawn.  If the weather is favourable how about a game of ping-pong on the patio outside using the full size ping-pong table.
