Middlehills Farm - Dog Friendly Campsite in Grangemill, Derbyshire

Middlehills Farm Campsite is a well established family run site which is owned and run by Nick and Liz Lomas and has been in the family for over 30 years.

It is set in 40 acres of land in the heart of the Peak District National Park with stunning views.

Extensive Play Area
On site we have a play area for children which is a big hit, which you can camp right next too if you are non electric. Please note that children are your responsibility at all times, especially on the Play Area.

On-site Shop
There is a small shop on site run by Kevin and Carolyn,  which sells camping equipment cold drinks ice creams, crisps, chocolates etc, we also have some fresh produce from Ginger Butchers in Bakewell. We also hire firepits from the shop during opening hours where you can also purchase Briquettes and starter packs, charcoal is also available.

Catering Van
New for 2023 season we have a new catering van which will be onsite throughout the season, called Skillz on the Grillz owned and run by Jasmine. She will be serving breakfasts at weekends, and also afternoon delights which will include a variety of food ranging from pulled pork to halloumi, during the 6 weeks holiday, this will be daily.

Places of Interest
We are 8 miles from the historic market town of Bakewell, where there is a market every Monday, Matlock Bath, where there is Gullivers Kingdom, and the Cable Cars at the Heights of Abraham, Buxton and Ashbourne. Dovedale, and the Tissington Trails well as Chatswoth House and Haddon Hall, are all within a 15 minute drive, as well as fabulous walks with stunning views.

Dogs
Dogs are allowed on site and are free but we do not allow them in the pods or holiday cottages. They MUST be on a lead at all times, failure to do so will result in you being asked to leave. Please clean up after your dog at all times.

There is a dog walking field on the drive as you approach the site.
