Poplars Farm Site - Dog Friendly Cottage in Derby, Derbyshire

Poplars Farm is situated on the edge of the Peak District in the picturesque Derbyshire Dales and is an independent, adults only site open all year round.  With 5 pitches for caravans or motorhomes, 6 tent pitches, 3 glamping pods and a dog friendly holiday cottage, it is an ideal spot for those wanting a quiet, peaceful retreat enjoying the important things in life ~ beautiful sunsets, walking, cycling, cooking outdoors, socialising, nature and all that Derbyshire has to offer.

Mustn't forget our four legged friends, who love Poplars Farm with the 10 acre field for walkies!

Friendly dogs can be off lead in the meadow.

The Cottage
'The Cottage', accommodates 4 adults and two pets in comfortable, cosy and welcoming surroundings.  With an upstairs double bedroom and a downstairs twin or kingsize bedroom plus two bathrooms, one on each floor, the Cottage is a great base for exploring Derbyshire.

​Living room - Comfortable living room with log burning stove for those winter nights. Smart TV, DVD player.

Cosy dining kitchen - The well-equipped kitchen with microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, coffee percolator, toaster, slow cooker and dry fryer.

Upstairs double with ensuite - With three windows, facing the north, south and east, enjoy outstanding views over the Derbyshire Dales.

Downstairs Bedroom - Choose to have a king size bed or twin beds in the downstairs bedroom. This bedroom is next to the shower room.

Downstairs Bedroom - Downstairs bedroom with twin bed option.

Downstairs shower room - The downstairs shower room benefits from a large shower cubicle and a floor to ceiling heated towel rail.

Upstairs ensuite with bath - Enjoy a soak in the bath in the upstairs ensuite.

One bed up,one bed down - It's handy to have both a bedroom and a bathroom on each floor. The front garden can be accessed though the side gate or via the front porch from the sitting room - also handy for our four legged friends!

Enclosed front garden - Enjoy sitting out, having a barbecue or relaxing by the chimenea or water feature.

Camping
The 5 caravan and motorhome pitches are arranged like spokes so that each has uninterrupted views north wards over the Derbyshire Dales.  There is plenty of room next to each pitch for sitting out at the side or front.  BBQs and fire pits are great as long as raised off the ground and unless the grass is tinder dry in Summer.
