Bank House Farm Campsite - Dog Friendly Camping in Buxton, Derbyshire
Bank House Farm Caravan and Camping Park is located in Hulme End, a hamlet 10 miles north of Ashbourne and 10 miles south of Buxton. Situated within the heart of the Peak District, the site offers stunning scenery and fantastic access to the surrounding area and attractions of the Peak District, Derbyshire and the Moorlands of Staffordshire.
We cater for couples and families. On-site, we have wildlife and the river, a selection of second-hand books and DVDs are available to take away (small donation to our local charity required), while in the local area you can explore all that Staffordshire and the Peak District has to offer. Alternatively, you can just relax and enjoy the surroundings.
Onsite Shop
Our onsite shop has plenty to keep you stocked up throughout your stay with us, from food, drinks and kindling. Our staff are there to help make your stay enjoyable so please ask if you have any requirements.
Toilet Facilities
Our award winning bathrooms have separate male, female and family toilets. All with hot showers and underfloor heating. There are electric points in our male and female toilets, along with hairdryers.
Pot Washing Area
Our undercover pot washing area is fitted out with fridges and freezers for campers. We also have a tumble dryer which is available upon request. There are lots of leaflets and information in this area.
Walking & Cycling
Whether it be picturesque villages, bustling market towns, historic houses and gardens or superb walks – we are the ideal base for your stay. In the immediate area, we have the Manifold Valley and the historic Thor’s Cave, as well as villages, pubs, local shops and tea rooms. For families there are Chatsworth and the Heights of Abraham, plus numerous spots for cycling, pond-dipping and picnics.
