Nestled between Dovedale and the Manifold Rivers, with stunning views and wonderful walks straight from the door, this is the perfect place for you to get together with friends and loved ones and explore this beautiful part of the UK. Whether you are staying for a short break, long weekend, holiday, workshop, event or wedding, you will find the ambience of the farm perfect for whatever you need it to be!

From romantic weekends in the Alpaca Hut, watching the stars in the Hot Tub, to Large Group bookings in the courtyard properties. Our self catering holiday accommodation, event barn and garden room is perfect for celebrations, family gatherings, birthdays, reunions, workshops, team meetings and weddings.

We have tried to create something a little bit different, opening up our home and sharing this amazing space with you.

Reuben’s Roost (sleeps 6 + guests)
Reuben’s is a beautiful cottage that retains a wealth of individual charm, with a beautiful large open plan living area situated under the apex roof that retains the old oak trusses and beams as well as the original stone flagged floors. Beautifully furnished with antiques and comfy sofas that you can relax on in front of the fire after a day exploring the surrounding Peak District. With three bedrooms sleeping 6 guests and a sofa bed for extra on the mezzanine above the living area it has plenty of space for a break away.

Bremen’s Barn (sleeps 7 + guests)
You’ll find this cottage full of character with exposed beams and tasteful furnishings as well as all the amenities you need for a lovely relaxing break away in this stunning part of the world. With four bedrooms sleeping 7 + guests, as well as an occasional single chair bed in the upstairs double room, Bremen’s Barn it is a perfect get away for family and friends. You can also pair this cottage with Hope’s Hideaway or Reuben’s Roost to accommodate for large groups as a party house.
The large open plan kitchen, dining and living area spreads all across the upper floor where amongst the lovely furnishings you can relax on large comfy sofas in a beautiful room with original exposed beams and oak trusses. This area is perfect for relaxing,  with its open plan layout that enables you to cook, dine and mingle together.

Hope's Hideaway (sleeping 8 + 2 guests)
Hope’s Hideaway is the perfect base for large groups and celebrations as well as family holidays. It is a beautiful and very characterful cottage, keeping its original features with added modern touches.  Perfect for groups where you can cook and mingle in the very large Kitchen, as well as a dining area to host everyone onsite. There is a games room with a Super league pool table, superfast fibre broadband as well as a hot tub (pre booking) overlooking the fields and sunsets or starry night skies.

Purdy's Place - Farmhouse B&B
Situated over three floors; this cottage sleeps 4 guests in two bedrooms. The Farmhouse dates back to Viking days and is full of character and history, it has a warm and friendly feel and is very snug and homely, there are no ghosts in this part of the house, but if it had one it would be protective and kind. Purdy’s is furnished simply but beautifully and includes all the amenities you need for a lovely stay at the farm.

The large double bedroom on the top floor has slipper bath and the 2nd bedroom on the middle floor is a lovely twin, also on this floor is a uniquely furnished shower room. On the ground floor is a charming small living/dining and cooking area with exposed beams and staircase. This space is small but cosy, it has all the amenities you need apart from a dishwasher!  Outside the front door is a small patio with seating, in addition the front farmhouse garden can be used if this property is hired independently. Alternatively, there is a lovely area up by the barn with seating and far-reaching views across the peaks.
