Greystoke House Dog Friendly B&B / Guesthouse in Keswick, Cumbria

A warm welcome awaits you at Greystoke House, situated in Keswick, in the heart of the Lake District National Park.

Originally a Victorian town house built in 1897, Greystoke house offers warm and comfortable accommodation in one single with private shower room, three double en-suite rooms and one flexible super king / twin / family en-suite.

We are a non-smoking, dog friendly Bed & Breakfast, situated in a quiet location within walking distance of Keswick town centre and Fitz Park. Greystoke House is ideally located to visit a variety of local attractions including the Theatre by the Lake and Keswick museum and provides the perfect base for walking and exploring this beautiful area of the Lake District.

Our accommodation
Completely refurbished over 2021 / 2022 Greystoke House offers a choice of one single room, three double en-suite rooms and one flexible super king / twin / family en-suite room. Our warm central heated bedrooms are modern and comfortably furnished and all have flat screen colour televisions with Freeview, alarm clocks, hairdryers and complimentary Fairtrade tea and coffee making facilities.



Guests are supplied with their own set of house keys and can have access to their rooms all day. A comprehensive Information booklet relating to Keswick and local attractions as well as useful information about Greystoke House is emailed out to guests shortly before arrival.

During your stay let us help you plan a day on the fells, we can supply maps and fill your flasks.

We have limited safe cycle storage and a drying room should the Lake District weather be unkind.

Breakfast
Breakfast is served in our large and comfortable dining room at either 8:00am or 9:00am each day. Wake yourself up with a full English breakfast, or for the not so hungry, something lighter if you prefer…

Breakfast menu:
Choice of fresh fruit, fruit juices, yoghurts, cereals,
muesli and grapefruit segments.

Cumberland sausage, Dry Cured Bacon, Fried bread, Baked Hash browns, Egg (fried, poached or scrambled)
Grilled tomatoes, sautéed mushrooms, Baked beans.

White or Wholemeal toast served with marmalade, honey,
marmite or a choice of jams.

English breakfast, Earl Grey, Fruit, Peppermint, Green or Decaffeinated tea. Instant, Fresh ground,
or Decaffeinated coffee. Hot chocolate.

Vegetarian, Vegan and Gluten Free options always available.
Locally sourced fresh produce is used wherever possible. We only use free-range eggs.
