Great Langdale Bunkhouse - Dog Friendly Bunkhouse in the Cumbrian Mountains

Situated amidst the finest mountain scenery the lake District has to offer, directly on the fells, Great Langdale Bunkhouse offers world class walking, mountain biking, road cycling, climbing, fell running and wild swimming. Situated in the heart of the Langdale Valley, Great Langdale Bunkhouse offers simple, clean and welcoming accommodation for small groups, families and larger groups of up to 18 people.

We are an independent hostel, aimed at providing walkers, climbers and other adventurers a comfortable but affordable place to lay their head. The bunkhouse has 18 single beds divided into 3 twin rooms and 2 rooms of 6 (all bunk beds). The rooms are simple but comfortable and each room has a double plug socket, a kettle, mugs and a full sized fridge. The bunkhouse has a biomass central heating throughout, so its toasty warm with an endless supply of hot water with powerful showers.

We love well behaved dogs and are very happy to accommodate them as long as they are never left alone in the room or allowed to run freely in the bunkhouse.
