Field Beck - Dog Friendly Accommodation in Cartmel, Cumbria

Set in a quiet lane on the edge of this ancient village, Field Beck overlooks the great medieval Priory of Cartmel and is the sort of Georgian house that Jane Austen might have lived in. It is a Grade II Listed building and all of its light and airy rooms have lovely views and catch the sun. The house has been lovingly conserved and furnished to keep its historic character and charm. If you like quirky old houses, you will love Field Beck.

On the ground floor is: a sitting room, with wood-stove, a dining room, a breakfast room, a scullery and a kitchen which features original 1950s stainless steel units.

On the first floor are 3 bedrooms: a twin and 2 doubles (1 with a washbasin),  and a bathroom. Above is a large attic with an extra TV.

Beneath the house are the original cellars, with stone flagged floors, an extra loo and a games room with snooker and football tables.
